JOB DESCRIPTION
The sale and marketing position is responsible for developing and sustaining partnerships and achieving revenue quota primarily into academic research laboratories and small to mid-market professional firms. This position plays a key role in seeking new business for BioInfoRx.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support partners through product development cycle by coordinating interaction with BioInfoRx teams.
- Assist team leaders in completing contracts with partners.
- Research potential market opportunities for software development and help identify partners.
- Prepare competitive analysis for software categories.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in business is highly suggested.
- With experience in business development, account management, or product management. Experience in evaluating, negotiating, and managing business deals will be a plus.
- Be able to understand the life science software markets, life science software business models, and extensive contacts within the life science industry that can be called upon readily.
- Experience with web-based life science software development, preferably with database-driven internet products. For this person to succeed, a good understanding of internet technology will be necessary.
- Ability to independently manage projects to completion. Possess strong financial, quantitative skills. Excellent presentation and diplomacy skills are a must.
- Experience with coordinating activities of a variety of internal and external resources (partners, legal, marketing, engineering, etc.)
- Passionate about BioInfoRx.
- Fluent in English.
- Great team players. Flexible approach to role and responsibilities.
